L’Oréal is a partner of the “Carbon Disclosure Project” (CDP) which encourages supply chain partners to control their carbon emissions.
L’Oréal is one of the founding members of the CDP's "Supply Chain Leadership Collaboration", which encourages supply chain players - and therefore the Group itself - to measure and control their carbon emissions. The SCLC sent a questionnaire to a group of trial companies. This questionnaire relates to carbon emissions, climate strategy, related risks, and opportunities. The results of the trial inquiry will make it possible to improve the process with the intent to extend its scope, and will help clients and suppliers work together to develop strategies for reducing their carbon footprint.
