L'Oréal sets out its values and commitments in its Code of Business Ethics which dedicates a complete chapter to supplier relations.
The Code of Business Ethics is supplemented by the Purchasing Code of Ethics that each purchaser must comply with.
L'Oréal seeks out suppliers who share its values and ethical commitments. These commitments are formalized, particularly in the "General terms of Purchase and Payment". For example, the equality of suppliers in requests for quotations is fundamental for the Group. For the majority of purchasing categories, the request for quotations process is structured by globally streamlined tools and operating modes.
We are also committed to paying our suppliers by our agreed-upon deadlines, in accordance with the services received.
