Anne-Clémence

HR Professional, France

I joined L’Oréal’s International Recruitment Team for a 10 month internship at the end of my Psychology degree (with an HR specialisation). I helped set up projects related to our staff integration programs, follow up and evaluation of interns’ work experience in the group.

A few months later, after graduation, I got a 4 month assignment working on operational recruitment. My job was to select HR trainees and I was also responsible for some campus activities.

I was then recruited a year ago and have been working in the HR IT Department since. More specifically, I work on the on-line recruitment service which is open to both candidates and recruiters worldwide. My job is to develop the recruitment section of the www.loreal.com site and to train our recruiters in the use of this tool so that they can post their adverts and select their candidates. Another fascinating aspect of this job is monitoring recruitment technology evolutions worldwide.

My experiences over the past 2 years have given me an all-round view of recruitment. What I like about working with L’Oréal is the opportunity to progress in a structure that encourages creativity and new ideas. And of course, all this takes place in a truly international context, since 60% of our daily exchanges take place in English.

As far as my future career is concerned, the range of opportunities offered by L’Oréal in HR is so vast that I could go into HR project management in a corporate department, in communication, training…. I could even go for an international position, why not!
