CareerBrigitte Liberman began her career as a representative for Henkel in 1980 before joining the company's marketing department.

In 1986, she joined L’Oréal through Laboratoires Goupil before spending four years as Marketing Director for Biotherm International then moving to Vichy International, the flagship brand in the Active Cosmetics Division.

In 2001, she was appointed General Manager, Active Cosmetics France and Benelux, a position involving major operational responsibilities.

Mrs Liberman was also instrumental in setting up a joint venture between L’Oréal and Nestlé under the name Laboratoires Innéov, a groundbreaking initiative in the field of oral cosmetics.

In 2004, she became General Manager for Laboratoires Vichy worldwide.

One year later, she was named Chief General Manager for Active Cosmetics, one of the four divisions that make up the L'Oréal group.

Present in over 65 countries around the world and employing nearly 3,400 people, Active Cosmetics designs and supplies pharmacies with a range of brands including Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Inneov, SkinCeuticals, Sanoflore and Roger & Gallet.

Mrs Liberman has been a member of the L'Oréal Executive Committee since January 2007.
