Mr. Lebel is the President of L’Oréal Consumer Products Division Worldwide, a role he has held since 2008.
He joined the company in 1981 as General Manager of the Consumer Division in the United Kingdom, and has successively held titles such as General Manager of the Laboratoires Garnier Division in France, Managing Director of L’Oréal U.K. Ltd., Managing Director of the Latin America Zone, and President of L’Oréal Professional Products Division.
Mr Lebel has been a member of the Executive Committee of the L’Oréal Group since January 2001.
He graduated from ESSEC Business School Paris (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) in 1972.
Mr. Lebel was awarded “Chevalier” in the Légion d'Honneur by the French government in 2006.
Mr Lebel has been a member of the Board of the Consumer Goods Forum since 2008 and is currently Treasurer and Joint Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Mr. Lebel joined the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board in 2009.
