The Corporate commitment Charter for equal opportunities in education
On December 13th 2006, Jean-Paul Agon, Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal signed the "Corporate commitment charter for equal opportunities in education" presented by Gilles de Robien, the French Minister for National & Higher Education and Research.
The aim of the charter is to foster corporate initiatives to promote equal opportunities (coaching, sponsorship, creation of scholarships, support classes, etc.) in the educational establishments of sensitive areas and priority education zones.
Since several years, the Group’s actions are intended to be diverse :
• Partnership with teaching establishments,
• Teacher training,
• Sponsorship of deserving students,
• Strong apprenticeship policy,
• Recruitment.
