Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones
Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones devoted his entire career to L’Oréal, joining the Group in 1969 as Product Manager after completing his studies at Oxford and INSEAD. He then rose through the ranks, serving in various management positions in France, Belgium, Italy and the United States. In 1984 he returned to France where he was appointed Deputy Chairman and CEO, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee and Member of the Board of Directors.

In 1988, he was named Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal. In April 2006 he became Chairman of the Board, handing the reigns over to Jean-Paul Agon. He also currently serves as a Board Member for Sanofi-Aventis and Ferrari.
