Look Good… Feel Better

Set up in France in 2000 by leading names in the cosmetics industry and sponsored by the Ligue contre le Cancer, the association is part of the international “Look Good… Feel Better” programme, which covers 19 countries.

The association organises free workshops on skincare and make-up in hospitals for women with cancer.

Its goal is to help patients cope with some of the side effects of cancer treatment and rebuild their self-confidence.

The association has workshops in 20 hospitals in Paris and in the surrounding region, as well as in Lille and Nice. En 2009, the association organised 195 workshops for 1560 women.

The L’Oréal Foundation helps fund the programme alongside nine L’Oréal brands (Biotherm, Garnier, Helena Rubinstein, Lancôme, Mixa, L’Oréal Paris, La Roche-Posay, Vichy and YSL Beauté).

Some L’Oréal employees are now committed to this project and help organize several workshops a year.
