Becoming a L’Oréal Supplier
There is a structured process for integrating a new supply into the L’Oréal supplier community:
This phase is the first contact between the supplier and L’Oréal.
L’Oréal collects information from the supplier and sends it the "Welcome on Board" kit. The Group wants to make its work methods and values widely visible, in order to create a partnership and foster awareness of the issues involved in collaboration from the very start.
2.1 Performance assessment
The process then continues, by analyzing the supplier's financial and technical data, its structure, and its geographic locations. Independent audits regarding quality, health, safety, and social conditions standards are also arranged.
2.2 Consolidating the Pilot Phase
The supplier begins to make deliveries to L’Oréal. Performance indicators and outcome reports are tracked frequently.
L’Oréal and the supplier then maintain relations by regularly sending one another performance indicators, professional meetings with the Group's teams, continuous development projects, etc.
