The L'ORÉAL Art & Science of Color prizes, created in Japan in 1997 by the L'ORÉAL Art and Science Foundation, has taken an international dimension since 1999, with an international jury of artists and scientists. One 30000 Euros Gold Prize, one 20000 Euros Silver Prize and one 10000 Euros Bronze Prizes are given to artists and scientists in recognition for their works achieved on the theme of color, the veritable link between Art and Science.
The Foundation has provided venues for scientists and artists to meet, focusing upon color such as the L'ORÉAL Art and Science of Color Prize for the past decade or so. However, the Foundation will close its activity at the end of this year. We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for your warm support for our Foundation during these years.
