The Marie Claire 2011 Prix d’Excellence de la Beauté awards were given to three L’Oréal brands.
The Prix d’Excellence de la Beauté celebrate their 25th anniversary this year. Maintaining the high standards on which its reputation is built, the ranking of the best products of the year remains restricted. Fifteen journalists have chosen the year's best products based on the following selection criteria: innovation, efficiency, audacity and pleasure. For this edition, 7 awards were presented, including 2 for the Group. Three L'Oréal brands won prizes:
- For their protective oils Ambre Solaire and Solar Expertise, Garnier and L'Oréal Paris received a Special Formulation Prize, created to reward this new concept that combines the safety of high sun protection with the sensuality of a protective oil. "The solar scoop of the year!" exclaimed the jury.
- Lancôme's Teint Miracle foundation is based on optical technology - playing with reflections - to recreate the skin's original glow. "Anyone with a fear of foundation would soon be converted by this product," was the praise of the jury.
