Jeremy Ong was appointed as General Manager of Professional Products Director of L’Oréal Vietnam from May 2022, who will bring Professional Products Division to the next level – building aspirational brands strongly anchored in the professional environment, mastering our offline and online distribution, and pioneering new ways of engaging and connecting with our hairdressers and consumers.
Jeremy brings with him more than 15 years of strong commercial, marketing and eCommerce experience from Coty, Edrington and Philip Morris International. Jeremy started his career with Philip Morris where he spent 7 years leading the Travel retail channel in South-East Asia as well as international experience in Switzerland across Business Planning and Trade Marketing. As Key Accounts Director,Travel Retail APAC he led the Singapore domestic, regional sales & business teams across Edrington and Coty.
Jeremy joined L’Oréal in February 2021 as General Manager for Professional Products Division Singapore, where he showed his commercial experience, ability to build strong relationships with key accounts & his authentic people leadership skills. His key achievements in the role include building a 3-year vision roadmap for the division with clear ambitions and strategic priorities, reviewing and fixing the fundamentals of the division, challenging the status quo. As a result, the business performance of PPD has been fantastic in all aspects including market share, gross margin, A&P spend and SG&A management. During his tenure, he has simplified the way of working within the division, removed walls or barriers, encouraged employees to have transparent conversations and eventually improved significantly the PPD Pulse result.
Jeremy is collaborative and open to new ideas and has been successful in building a people orientated culture in the different and diverse countries where he has been assigned.
