Valéry has spent 22 years at L'Oréal working in various markets, in the Latin Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. In that time, Valéry has distinguished himself as a modern business leader known for operational excellence, visionary brand management, digital marketing innovation, a passion for beauty in all of its diverse expressions, and a commitment to corporate social responsibility, ethics and sustainability.
Valéry started his career with L’Oréal 22 years ago and has taken over strategic roles in growing Active Cosmetics Division and Consumer Products Division in various countries. In 2013, Valéry took over General Manager’s role of Consumer Product Division (CPD) at L’Oréal Turkey, leading this complex and strategic market to over-perform the market yearly and to accelerate the business growth substantially. Under Valéry’s leadership, Consumer Products Division gained an impressive market share, leading the make-up, skincare and hair-colors categories while strongly reinforcing financial performance of the company.
In recognition of his strong leadership and strategic acumen, Valéry was appointed as Managing Director of L’Oréal Vietnam in March 2018, one of the top 10 potential next emerging markets of the Group. Valéry has, in each of his mission, demonstrated his agility, passion, energy, drive and great people leadership. He is known for his very collaborative way of working and for developing his teams.
Valéry is a graduate of the HEC Business School in Paris.
