Rajgopal joined L’Oréal in 2002 as a Group Project Manager in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal India. He was then promoted to the position of Marketing Manager, responsible for L’Oreal Paris and Maybelline. In 2005, he was appointed the General Manager, Marketing , Consumer Products Division in India. He moved to his current position as the General Manager, Consumer Products Division at L’Oréal Indonesia in 2008. Under his leadership, the Division has seen the development of promising Indonesian talent, the introduction of relevant products and the establishment of an efficient distribution framework. Consequently, the Division has been registering outstanding growth over the last 4 years.
Prior to joining L’Oréal, he was first with Blow Plast India, the largest luggage manufacturer in the country and later with the Al Tayer Group in the UAE.
Rajgopal graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, India. He also received an MBA from INSEAD in 2001.
