The Spring/Summer 2017 Holographic Color Melt collection, from the global artists at Matrix, showcases four, exciting new color melt designs, along with the cut and styling techniques that will propel them to be the most in-demand hair looks for the season. The trend was identified through leveraging social media listening and the looks were created by an international team of Matrix Artistic Directors. The team includes Chrystofer Benson (4X NAHA Winner, 14 NAHA nominations) , Mila Belova (Russian Hairdresser of the Year 2015), Danielle Keasling (3X NAHA Winner, 3x NAHA nominations, 5X ABS Finalist) and Dan Csicsai (2017 BTC Big Shot Avant Garde WinnerNAHA nominations) and the stylists they each mentored, Dennis Rombout, Francis Bouchard, Vitaliy Pimenov and Victoria Yeremchuk.
“We’re seeing so much hair color all over social media, but so much of it is DIY work that lacks sophistication in the application,” says Benson. “With this collection, we’re taking back technically-driven hair color.”
