Fulfilling the fundamental mission of L'Oréal Group of providing beauty for all and beauty for each individual has been the key goal of L'Oréal Poland since the launch of operations 28 years ago (in 1992) in Warsaw.
Pursuing the ambition to better serve consumers and cooperate with customers for the further development and transformation of beauty market in the region, in March 2017 the L’Oréal Poland & Baltic HUB was created. HUB headquarters are based in Warsaw with operating offices in Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
With a unique portfolio of more than 20 diverse and complementary brands responding to every consumer's expectations according to habits and lifestyle, the L’Oréal Poland & Baltic HUB is the region’s leading company in all beauty and health categories. Thanks to extensive cooperation with its business partners, the company is fully adapted to local distribution conditions.
The brands are managed by divisions that each have expertise in their own distribution channel: mass market, department stores, pharmacies and drugstores, hair salons, branded retail and e-commerce.
As an organization that places a high value on scientific understanding, gender equality and diversity, L’Oréal established For Women in Science in partnership with UNESCO in 1998 to support and recognize women scientists. The L’Oréal Poland has been running the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science initiative for 20 years. To date, 99 talented young women scientists from Poland were granted L’Oréal Fellowships to pursue promising research projects.
One of L’Oréal’s factories is located in Poland. L'Oréal Warsaw Plant has 25 years of history. It is the largest L'Oréal plant in the world in terms of production volume – each year it produces 360 mln products, including shampoos, body lotions, tonic, deodorants etc. Consumers from many countries buy and use L'Oréal products produced in L'Oréal Warsaw Plant. The plant is one of the key facilities both for L'Oréal global business as well as from the local economic, social perspective and sustainability.
At L’Oréal, we care for animal welfare and we do not test on animals. We are for beauty with no animal testing.
Since 1989, 14 years before the "EU" regulations required us to do so, we have not tested the safety of our products on animals.
Because we care about animal welfare, over 40 years ago, L’Oréal pioneered the development of human reconstructed skin that can be used to evaluate how cosmetic ingredients and products behave on human skin.
