Every year since 2010, L’Oréal Groupe employees around the world can support local non-profit organizations during a day of solidarity on their working hours. Employees can get involved in various initiatives, such as renovating non-profits premises, collecting waste, producing hygiene kits, or setting up well-being workshops for people in vulnerable situations.

In 2025, more than 28,700 employees volunteered to support our non-profit organization partners.

Launched in France in 2018, the Payroll Giving program allows employees, on a voluntary basis, to donate the cents from their paycheck to a non-profit organization, with the option to add a supplemental contribution ranging from 1 to 50 euros. L'Oréal Groupe is committed to matching employee donations, up to an amount of €100,000 every year.

In 2025, nearly 2,300 employees in France took part in the program, allowing for the collection of over €237,000 (including L'Oréal's matching contribution). This initiative has allowed for a total redistribution of over €1.6 million to these beneficiary organizations and has notably made it possible to plant nearly 340,000 trees.

Today, the United States also has a financial donation program in place for partner non-profit organizations, with a matching contribution mechanism from the company.

To help our partner non-profit organizations reinvent or sustain their model, employees of the Groupe in France can take part in digital and in-person Hackathons for Good ¹. This new format of civic engagement allows employees to work alongside non-profit project leaders and volunteers, to put their skills at the service of the common good.

Since its launch in 2018, more than 35 solidarity Hackathons and Incubations have been organized by the L'Oréal Groupe in France, enabling nearly 725 employees to contribute to more than 45 non-profit organizations. In 2025, 3 solidarity Hackathons and 3 incubations took place, involving more than 70 employees supporting 3 non-profit organizations.

To help young people and contribute to the fight against inequality of opportunity, the Groupe has launched in France: Citizen Time – Mentoring Program. It was created in collaboration with the Human Resources team (L'Oréal for Youth ^[2]) and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, with the aim of supporting the "1 student, 1 mentor" initiative. It offers employees the opportunity to commit, in their personal time, to the beneficiaries of our roughly 20 partner non-profit organizations.

Since 2021, more than 1,300 employees have registered for a mentoring mission, growing our community of mentors. Nearly 200 employees engaged each month, on average, during the 2024-2025 school year.
