Since the end of 2006, a day and half training program has been rolled out to managers in Europe. The aim is to raise awareness of non-discrimination and to involve them in the implementation of the group's diversity policies. This training, which has already reached more than 10,000 managers in France and in Europe, complements the training program that has been ongoing in the United States for a number of years, where more than 3,500 people have been trained.
1st European label for professional equality
L’Oréal is a founding member of the Arborus Endowment Fund, created at the beginning of 2010 with the goal of promoting and integrating Professional Equality sustainably on a pan-European basis. Arborus has several strategic objectives, such as, creating a label with the support of the European Commission and conducting studies in partnership with top European universities. A number of L’Oréal's entities received the label in 2011: France (group and subsidiaries), Great-Britain, Belgium, Italy, Spain. Four other European countries have been certified at the end of 2012: Poland, Portugal, the Baltic Countries and the Czech Republic.
