Active Cosmetics Production's unique savoir-faire has been fostered since Dr. Haller registered the Vichy brand in 1931.
The Vichy factory was built in 1969 as close as possible to the Vichy thermal sources. The products are made in respect of high standards for security, quality and environment protection. The site is structured around 5 main activities: reception and monitoring of packaging elements and raw materials, weighing, manufacturing, packaging and expedition when the final products have been monitored.
- Over 100 000 deliveries of raw materials are received yearly.
- 100% of raw and packaging materials are monitored before use by production units.
- 16 manufacturing facilities produce the dermocosmetics range.
- 855 tons of thermal water are drawn from the Vichy sources to guarantee that the dermocosmetics are fresh and active.
- 40 conditioning lines use different types of containers - tubes, bottles and pots - to deliver a finished product.
A number of investments have been made on the production site over the past two years in response to the division's growth and new product development. These include renovated production units, automation and improved ergonomics for certain lines.
Vichy and La Roche-Posay production activities at the legacy factories have been grouped under the name of Active Cosmetics Production since 2006. The La Roche-Posay factory has been located in the La Roche-Posay community (Vienne region) since 1976. These sources are owned by the brand and it is here that the spring water vaporizers are conditioned.
