L’Oréal Act for Dermatology
At L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty, we believe access to skin health should be a right, not a privilege. As the leader of dermatological beauty, we consider it our duty to help address the challenges of our ecosystem. That’s why we launched, in collaboration with the World Health Organization and the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), the L’Oreal Act for Dermatology program.
This €20 million fund is structured around four pillars: pioneer knowledge on access to skin health, raise awareness on skin health challenges, empower education, and scale proven successful solutions. As part of the first pillar, we launched the Global Skin Health Observatory, the first comprehensive study assessing challenges in accessing dermatological care across 158 countries. Additionally, together with ILDS, we contributed to the creation of the first-of-its-kind inclusive databank of skin pathologies images certified by dermatologists. This open-source tool will help transform derm education and increase access to skin health everywhere in the world.
Suncare and sun protection: the non-negotiables of healthy skin
Building on more than 85 years of research, we innovate with new textures and formulations to increase the daily adoption of best-in-class SPF protection around the world.
