L’Oréal India celebrates its 30th year as a wholly-owned subsidiary of L’Oréal S.A. since 1994. Today, L’Oréal India is present in all distribution channels with 26 brands, available in mass market channels (L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York, NYX Professional Makeup); in hair and beauty salons (L’Oréal Professionnel, Matrix, Kérastase, Redken); in selective distribution (Kiehl’s, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent), CeraVe in pharmacy and chemist channels, and fragrances sold via L’Oréal International Distribution (Ralph Lauren, Armani, Prada, Valentino, Diesel, Viktor & Rolf, Maison Margiela, Mugler, Azzaro, Guy Laroche)
L’Oréal India employs over 1,800 people across its headquarters in Mumbai, four regional offices, two manufacturing facilities in Chakan (Maharashtra) and Baddi (Himachal Pradesh), and Research and Innovation facilities in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Aseem Kaushik is the Managing Director of L’Oréal India and is responsible for driving the company's growth across India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.Aseem has been with L’Oréal for close to 30 years and held many leadership positions across the Consumer Products Division (CPD) and the Professional Products Division (PPD) within the Group.
At the start of his career, he set up and led the expansion of the field operations of CPD in India and held multiple roles in sales and marketing. As the General Manager (GM) of CPD, he spearheaded the double-digit growth of the division by implementing a clear and ambitious vision focused on digital transformation, excellence in execution, and e-commerce acceleration. Aseem has also held leadership roles across L’Oréal SAPMENA (South Asia Pacific Middle East North Africa) zone, driving an ambitious online and offline transformation agenda for the professional beauty industry which includes a strong network of salon partners, brand innovation and digital adoption.
Aseem has driven significant growth since becoming Country Manager of L’Oréal India in 2023, overseeing the launch of both the L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty and L’Oréal Luxury divisions, expanding the company’s reach in the skincare and premium beauty markets. At the heart of his leadership success is his focus on people; empowering them to grow to their full potential and building collaborative teams. Being an agile leader, he naturally leads with a simplicity mindset and champions efforts to maximize time and effort. Aseem holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Delhi.
