As an organization that places a high value on scientific understanding, gender equality and diversity, L’Oréal established For Women in Science in partnership with UNESCO in 1998 to support and recognize women scientists. The L’Oréal Poland has been running the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science initiative for 20 years. To date, 99 talented young women scientists from Poland were granted L’Oréal Fellowships to pursue promising research projects.
One of L’Oréal’s factories is located in Poland. L'Oréal Warsaw Plant has 23 years of history. It is the largest L'Oréal plant in the world in terms of production volume – each year it produces 360 bln products, including shampoos, body lotions, tonic, deodorants etc. Consumers from many countries buy and use L'Oréal products produced in L'Oréal Warsaw Plant. The plant is one of the key facilities both for L'Oréal global business as well as from the local economic, social perspective and sustainability.
