Paris and Levallois, 06/22/18 - L'Oréal France has teamed up with Casino Group's Franprix brand to create a completely new concept that is revolutionizing the way of consuming beauty and well-being in the capital: "the Parisian drugstore".
This new concept store completely rethinks the beauty and well-being offer by positioning itself as the “urban store of the good that makes it beautiful”. The offer will range from beauty and well-being to parapharmacy, through sewing kits, “fun” accessories or healthy snacks. All services available were designed specifically for urban consumers: free Wi-Fi, water fountain, sinks and hairdresser’s self-service, laundry, point relay…
Jean-Charles Naouri, President of the Casino Group, says:
The Casino Group has made innovation the core of its action. It is a great pride to announce today this new concept, born of an unprecedented partnership with L’Oréal. This partnership shows if it was necessary that large companies also know how to meet each other, invent and create unique places, allied with the new urban lifestyle
Jean-Paul Agon, CEO of the L’Oréal Group says:
We are very happy to be a player in the change along with Casino to create a new beauty experience for consumers in France, and in parallel to reinvigorate the development of an offer at the forefront of new consumer trends in beauty. Innovating and inventing new models at the service of consumers is at the heart of our DNA.
Several L’Oréal brands will be present (L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, NYX Professional Makeup, Essie, Sanoflore etc.), as well as exclusive and expert brands, so that each visit becomes the occasion for a new discovery.
Hervé Navellou, CEO of L’Oréal France commented:
We are delighted and proud of this “start-up” collaboration with the Casino Group, which demonstrates that relations with our distributors can be reinvented in an innovative, constructive and above all beneficial for the consumer way, as long as we always place it at the center of our thoughts
Two first drugstores will open on June 23th in Paris at 66, rue de La Chaussée d’Antin (Paris 9) and 122, rue du Bac (Paris 6). They will be open 7/7, Monday to Saturday from 10am to midnight, and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Every month, an exceptional opening all day long will offer Parisians exclusive entertainment and wellness services.
