2026 L’Oréal Beauty for All Scholarships

L’Oréal Groupe in Australia supports the next generation of aspiring beauty professionals in partnership with Kangan Institute

Melbourne, Australia — L’Oréal Groupe, Australia, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Beauty for All Scholarships, marking the ninth consecutive year of its transformative partnership with the Kangan Institute. The scholarship program, built on a shared commitment to the power of education, provides financial support and industry pathways to the next generation of beauty professionals. The program celebrates three exceptional young women and this year, we are proud to be offering a scholarship to Bree Styles, our first student from Bendigo TAFE along-side Angela Patricia González Patricia González Ruiz, and Diana Ayad from Kangan Institute. All three women have demonstrated outstanding potential as future leaders in the Australian beauty sector.

At L’Oréal Groupe, we believe that beauty is far more than just ‘looking good.’ It is a powerful, transformative force that gives individuals the confidence to be who they are and the courage to define who they want to be” says Stephanie Luelf, Corporate Affairs & Engagement Director, L'Oréal Groupe ANZ. By supporting these scholars’ education today, we are welcoming them into an industry that is a fundamental human need and a vital pillar of the Australian economy.”

The 2026 Beauty for All Scholarship program aligns perfectly with L’Oréal’s global purpose: to create the beauty that moves the world. By providing education and opportunity to emerging talent, L’Oréal Groupe continues its mission to make beauty inclusive and accessible to everyone in this high-value sector, bridging the gap between vocational training and professional excellence.

This year’s winners will be recognised at an awards ceremony taking place on Thursday, 23rd April 2026. They will each receive a scholarship that covers their full tuition expenses at Kangan Institute, one of the largest and most trusted education and training providers in Victoria.

ANGELA PATRICIA GONZÁLEZ RUIZ

KANGAN INSTITUTE

"My journey in beauty began at age twelve on a small coffee farm in Colombia, where I discovered that a simple treatment could transform a woman’s confidence. Migrating to Australia at nineteen with only 23 kilograms of luggage meant rebuilding my life from scratch—learning a new language and navigating a new culture without the safety net of family support. The financial pressure of leaving full-time work to pursue formal qualifications almost put my dreams out of reach. This scholarship is the bridge that allows me to focus on my professional growth. My ultimate goal is to open a salon that serves as a sanctuary for other migrant women, helping them regain their independence and confidence as they pursue their own Australian dreams."

"For years, my skin defined how I saw myself. Battling severe acne as a teenager left me with deep insecurities, and a later experience with an unsafe treatment that resulted in keloid scarring taught me just how vulnerable clients are when they place their trust in a professional. I want to be the help that I once needed. To pursue this diploma, I had to cut my work hours in half and take on physically demanding overnight shifts just to survive, which has taken a real toll on my wellbeing. Receiving the Beauty for All scholarship is life-changing; it removes the constant financial uncertainty and allows me to focus entirely on my dream of studying dermal science and opening a clinic where I can truly restore a person’s confidence."

BREE STYLES

BENDIGO TAFE

"I have always had a deep passion for the beauty industry, from practicing treatments on my friends to dreaming of one day owning my own salon. However, the financial reality of living in a rural area nearly forced me to give up on my studies before they even began. Between the cost of the course and the rising expense of fuel just to get to class each day, I was struggling to balance my education with basic living costs. This scholarship is more than just financial support; it is the bridge that allows me to reach my goals, refine the skills I’ve been building at home, and move toward a career that I know I am ready for."
