Where the next generation tackles real business challenges and launches their careers, L’Oréal Brandstorm is far from a theoretical exercise: it’s our most concrete commitment to investing in early-career talent worldwide. For over 30 years, we have partnered with universities and schools globally to bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry reality.
This year, 660 L'Oréal employees dedicated their time and expertise as mentors, actively coaching and challenging participants with direct feedback on how projects run in the real world. If you are in your 20s wondering where to start, this is where you build market-ready skills and open doors to a career at L'Oréal.
For the 34th edition, over 380,000 participants from 64 countries tackled a concrete brief: "Craft the Future of Luxury Fragrance", run alongside L'Oréal Luxe. Out of 45 semi-finalist teams, six pitched live on stage at VivaTech - Europe's biggest startup and tech event in Paris - directly to an executive jury.
Note: This is an EOCCS-accredited online learning experience
Team "Three Notes" from the United States took first place with "Prada Capturé". Britney Chen, Christine Lin, and Louis Lin developed biodegradable fragrance sheets housed in a collectible metal case designed to double as a wearable accessory. Their reward leads straight into the day-to-day work: a three-month mission at L'Oréal Luxe headquarters in Paris, moving directly into permanent roles on the SeedZ Management Trainee Programme.
