Director, L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty India
Rami Itani is the Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) and is responsible for launching the division in India, building its fundamentals, and setting it on a growth trajectory across the country for the years to come.
Rami has been with L’Oréal Groupe for more than 11 years where he held several positions in different geographic territories. He started his career with L’Oréal Levant (based in Beirut, Lebanon) in 2012 coming with a strong FMCG acumen from his previous experience.
He was first a Business Unit Manager in the Dermatological Beauty Division. Then, after being promoted to Marketing Manager, he took a zone role in Paris, France where he was responsible for expanding the LA ROCHE-POSAY business in Africa & Middle East region.
He then took on a challenging role in the Professional Products Division (PPD) working on MATRIX back in Lebanon and was instrumental in turning around the brand performance.
In 2017, Rami took his first Division Director role managing the LDB Business in Levant countries. Under Rami’s leadership, LDB Levant witnessed strong growth, increased profitability, with significant market share gains, and business modernization.
More recently, Rami transitioned to the newly established SAPMENA zone in Singapore where he was in charge of Business Development for LDB, focusing on unlocking the full potential of emerging countries in the zone.
At the heart of his leadership success is his focus on people; and building collaborative teams as active support networks. Being an agile entrepreneur, he naturally leads with a simplicity mindset and champions efforts to maximize time & resources.
Rami’s academic background is engrained in “Health” (holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology & Masters Degree in Public Health).
