In October 2022, Carita reopened its renowned Maison de Beauté at 11 Faubourg Saint Honoré after two years of restoration and renovation. Seventy years after its doors first opened, this legendary Parisian beauty destination still epitomizes Carita’s position at the pinnacle of professional luxurious skincare.



Transforming skin to reveal its unique aura 

For more than 75 years, Carita has sought to offer the most exclusive professional care experience to transform the skin and reveal its unique aura. Whether applied at the Maison de Beauté, which was inaugurated on December 15, 1952, in the presence of the Duchess of Windsor and 3,000 members of Parisian high society, or at home, the brand’s beauty protocols are the result of cutting-edge research and development work. 

Over the decades, Carita has upheld the excellence and high standards of its founders, sisters Maria and Rosy Carita, creating professional skincare protocols, exclusive techniques, and exceptional products with visible effectiveness. The secret to the sister’s success can be summed up in one sentence: “Every person must be received like a king or a queen and must be won over again every time.” Their clients included crowned dignitaries and a host of renowned actresses such as Isabelle Adjani, Grace Kelly and Françoise Hardy.

11 Faubourg : The worldwide beauty Luxury temple

On October 3, 2022, the Maison de Beauté opened its doors once again to retake its place as the most desirable beauty address in Paris. The majestic 1,800-square-meter mansion owes its rebirth to the talent of architects Sophie Thuillier and Cristiano Benzoni. To orchestrate the center’s renewal, Carita also signed on celebrity hairstylist John Nollet as artistic director. 

“Carita is a pioneering house that built the special relationship that still exists between artists, hairdressers, and beauty. I hope to instill my vision, share my experience, and restore this beautiful brand to its rightful place,” said Nollet. 

Guests enter the building through Carita’s signature portico, then pass under a series of arches to reach a concept store. The black and white marble setting, enhanced with pink onyx and chrome highlights, evokes gentle curves. On the main floor, at the rear of a boutique featuring Carita skincare products, discreet alcoves welcome customers for their diagnosis. Stairs lead up to 11 treatment rooms and a hair salon. Eye and semi-permanent makeup care services are also on offer, along with a 35-seat restaurant run by chef Amandine Chaignot. The center even boasts its own private apartment. 

The refurbishment project was entirely eco-designed using materials and techniques chosen for their sustainability, recyclability, and compliance with the most exacting environmental certifications.

2022 : The rebirth and the Asia conquest

Year after year, Carita’s proven protocols have been upgraded and taken to new heights. The ultra-premium global skincare brand is known all over the world for its know-how and its famed triple approach comprising choreographed gestures, advanced technology, and unrivaled skincare products. 

In 1962, the Carita sisters were among the first to include beauty tech devices in their protocols for enhanced results. Today, these devices are in their seventh generation. Fast forward to 2022 and Carita is still a pioneer in beauty tech. The brand recently introduced the ultimate anti-aging treatment with Pro.Morphose R.F., a new-generation device that uses radiofrequency energy to treat the face and body.

Carita relaunched itself in 2022 in France and China, reworking and premiumizing its product offer with new formulations, packaging, protocols, and Tech. August 2022 marked the debuts of the Asia conquest with the opening of 3 points on sales in Nanjing Deji, Beijing SKP and Shanghai Daimaru. As part of the China launch, the renowned Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen and Beijing and the Capella Shanghai five star hotels have also inaugurated their ultraluxe Carita spas in order to position the brand at the highest standards.
