La Roche-Posay: Learn All about Sun Protection with the UVMune400 QR Code

Highlighting the innovations, research, sustainability, and tech behind UVMune400

In March 2022, L'Oréal Research & Innovation launched UVMune 400, a breakthrough sun filtering technology that protects the skin efficiently against the most insidious UV rays. A sun protection pioneer for 30 years, La Roche-Posay was the first L’Oréal brand to launch UVMune 400 through its Anthelios franchise. Now it has begun providing a QR code with the product to allow consumers to access a wealth of information. Read on to learn more about this new digital experience.

Innovative protection against the entire UV spectrum

Sun is the leading cause of skin cancers and premature ageing. By penetrating deep inside our skin, UVA rays – especially long UVA rays – are responsible for severe skin DNA and deep cell damage. UVA rays constitute 95% of the UV rays that reach our skin every day. These UVA rays are present throughout the year, even in the winter and pass though clouds and windows. With UVMune 400, the most efficient filter against the most insidious UV rays, ultra-long UVA rays [380 - 400nm], L’Oréal is making its biggest breakthrough in solar innovation in 30 years.
