L’Oréal France raises employee awareness of the fight against discrimination
On May 17, 2019, L’Oréal France observed the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. Employees were engaged in a day of conferences about the fight against discrimination and homophobia. Awareness of these issues was also raised through activities at the L’Oréal France campus.
UK and Ireland highlight employees in transition
Launched in 2017, the OUT@L’Oréal initiative has made L’Oréal an employer of choice for the LGBTI community in the UK and Ireland. An active network of employees was formed, while an audit of internal policies was carried out to meet the needs of the LGBTI community. In 2019, the subsidiary launched a policy to ensure there is comprehensive support and understanding for employees wishing to transition.
