Our Citizen Day: The Radiance of Commitment for a Positive Impact!

On July 8th, at the heart of Montreal, L'Oréal Canada teams mobilized on the ground. Directly. Where impact is most tangible. Where needs are most palpable. They dedicated their time, talent, and passion to serving 35 NGOs working in 5 key areas: disability, access to employment, the fight against exclusion, environmental preservation, and intergenerational solidarity. The meaning of this action lies entirely in our purpose: creating the beauty that moves the world. This is what drives us daily.

What a triumph for this 2025 edition!

We are immensely proud and deeply moved by the unprecedented enthusiasm shown. Over 580 employees stepped away from their usual responsibilities to fully commit themselves. Whether by preparing meals for the most disadvantaged, organizing vital resources, facilitating employability workshops, or simply offering a comforting presence and warm smiles, every contribution left a lasting mark.

We were privileged witnesses to this generosity in action. From places working for the empowerment of women and young girls, to shelters offering a haven of peace to individuals experiencing homelessness, each visit was a lesson in humility and an unforgettable source of inspiration.

These experiences remind us that concrete action has the power to transform lives. We are deeply convinced that beauty, far beyond its aesthetic attributes, is a powerful force capable of transforming lives, mending, building hope, and inspiring. This exemplary mobilization is an eloquent proof of our united strength and our determination to generate concrete impact. Every helping hand, every shared smile, every hour of volunteering transformed into concrete and measurable action. Several hundred beneficiaries saw their daily lives brightened, their lives tangibly improved by our action. In September, it will be the turn of our Toronto-based teams to continue this civic momentum!

We not only emerge inspired from this day; we emerge grown, enriched, and more connected than ever to our purpose, "creating the beauty that moves the world."
