Barbara Lavernos is Chief Technology and Operations Officer, and member of the Executive Committee since 2014.

She manages the value chain of all L’Oréal Group’s brands from packaging design and product development, sourcing, manufacturing to the worldwide supply chain (7 billion products).  Barbara, along with her teams, is leading Operations’ major transformation regarding e-commerce and Industry 4.0.
Barbara also leads the Group's Global Information Technology (IT) strategy and heads for the global IT teams as part of the Beautytech transformation project.

Prior to this, Barbara was the Managing Director of the Travel Retail business worldwide. Barbara joined L’Oréal 29 years ago and has enjoyed a rich and diverse career path, holding various positions such as  Global Chief Procurement Officer for the L’Oréal group. She previously held diverse responsibilities in Product Development and Purchasing as well that of Plant Director in France. As engineer, she is a graduate of l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur (HEI France).
