Barbara Lavernos

Barbara Lavernos is Chief Technology and Operations Officer, and member of the Executive Committee since 2014.
She manages the value chain of all the L’Oréal Group’s brands from packaging design and product development, sourcing, manufacturing to the worldwide supply chain (7 billion products).  Barbara, along with her teams, is leading Operations’ major transformation regarding e-commerce and Industry 4.0.
Barbara is also responsible of the Global Information Technology (IT) strategy of the Group, together with the IT teams at worldwide level.

Prior to this, Barbara was the Managing Director of the Travel Retail business worldwide. Barbara joined L’Oréal 26 years ago and has enjoyed a rich and diverse career path, holding various positions such as Global Chief Procurement Officer for the L’Oréal group. She previously held diverse responsibilities in Product Development and Purchasing as well that of Plant Director in France. As engineer, she is a graduate of l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur (HEI France).
