L'Oréal Brandstorm: the competition that empowers the next generation of talent
L'Oréal Brandstorm is our global innovation competition, empowering the next generation of talent to redefine the beauty industry. For over 30 years, it has served as a dynamic launchpad for promising careers, challenging bright minds to develop disruptive ideas and solve real-world business cases, all while connecting them with L'Oréal experts to shape the future of beauty.
A Global Stage for Talent
The Brandstorm journey is an unparalleled experience. In its 33rd edition, over 240,000 participants from 64 countries took on the mission: 'MEN. BEAUTY & CARE. GAME ON!'. The competition culminates in a life-changing opportunity for the top finalist teams: pitching their project on-stage at Viva Technology in Paris—Europe's biggest startup and tech event.
From Competition to a Career at L'Oréal
More than a competition, Brandstorm is a direct pathway to a career with us. Thousands of alumni have found full-time employment at L’Oréal, and each year, nearly 500 participants secure their first professional role through their involvement.
The grand prize is a testament to our commitment to nurturing innovation. Winners embark on a unique 3-month mission at L'Oréal's global headquarters. During this immersive experience, they develop their project with expert mentorship, an opportunity that often leads to a permanent management trainee position.
This year, we celebrated Team Chile ("CAPILAB") as our 2025 champions. Their winning project, "RegrowMen" -a smart ecosystem designed to restore men's hair confidence- exemplifies the bold, creative thinking that Brandstorm inspires.
