L'Oréal Canada hosts the 5th edition of Women4Climate

As part of the 5th edition of the Women4Climate Montreal mentorship program with the City of Montreal, the Women's Environmental Network, and C40 Cities, L'Oréal Canada was pleased to host the cohort of mentors and mentees at a panel lunch on May 5, 2023 at its headquarters.

During a conversation with Marie-Andrée Mauger, mayor of Verdun and responsible for the ecological transition and the environment for the city of Montreal and Sabaa Khan, Executive Director, Quebec and Atlantic Canada of the David Suzuki Foundation, L'Oréal Canada's President and CEO, An Verhulst-Santos, had the opportunity to discuss topics such as the place of women in society, sustainable development issues and the personal challenges they have encountered. It was an opportunity to set an example that as a leader, one can shape the future, as well inspire an audience by sharing their career and personal life experiences.

The Women4Climate program is a joint initiative of C40 Cities and the L'Oréal Foundation, supporting women in cities to accelerate inclusive local climate projects. Through the mentoring program, mayors, city officials, and committed leaders from the corporate sector, international organizations, and civil society are connected with emerging women leaders. Mentors share their knowledge and experience, helping mentees become powerful leaders in their fields, whether in politics, NGOs, business, media or community groups.
