SHRESHTA JANA

Shreshta Jana is the General Manager of the Luxury Division at L’Oréal India and is responsible for overseeing brand strategy, sales, and marketing to drive growth and strengthen the company’s position in the luxury beauty market.
He has been with the L'Oréal Groupe since 2006, in multiple leadership positions across diverse functions and geographies.

Shreshta started his career in L'Oréal within Finance in the UK and the Paris head office. He then joined Travel Retail, progressing from Area Manager to General Manager of Lancôme & Kiehl's for Europe, Middle East, Africa & India.

Prior to joining the India leadership committee, Shreshta was the General Manager of Luxe American Brands, L'Oréal UK & Ireland where he successfully elevated market positions of key brands such as Kiehl’s, Urban Decay and IT Cosmetics and spearheaded the launch of Youth to the People. During this tenure, he skillfully reorganized the entire Luxe American Brands portfolio to maximize growth, optimize distribution channels, enhance customer engagement, and boost profitability.

Shreshta’s leadership style is characterized by his commitment to talent development, unwavering resilience, and a positive outlook, enabling him to navigate challenges effectively and inspire his teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Shreshta has a BSc (Mathematics & Economics) from The London School of Economics and a MBA from INSEAD.
