As part of the 42nd European Heritage Days, and for the 3rd consecutive year, L'Oréal Groupe is delighted to open eight of its sites. Research centers, factories, thermal spas... These spaces are privileged witnesses to our commitment to continuous innovation and to creating the beauty of tomorrow.
The 2025 European Heritage Days are dedicated to "Architectural Heritage," and it is impossible to dissociate architecture and beauty. When a L'Oréal designer sketches the contours of one of our products, they share an aesthetic quest with an architect: the beauty of a pure line, of perfect symmetry, just like the masterful glass roof of Le Visionnaire, L'Oréal's historic headquarters.
Similarly, the creation of a new serum or fragrance is not limited to its formula; it incorporates a deep reflection on texture, balance, or its use, while taking into account cultural specificities – a full approach that echoes the elaboration of an exceptional building.
Following its recent designation as "Europe's Most Innovative Company" by Fortune magazine, L'Oréal Groupe is proud to open the doors of its sites where beauty takes shape. These days invite visitors to discover our laboratories where science meets creativity, our research centers where our teams explore the secrets of skin, hair, and makeup, and our factories where bottles come to life.
These are exceptional spaces where innovative ideas become rituals that meet the world infinite beauty needs.

Le Visionnaire
L’Oréal's historic headquarters at 14 rue Royale was rebranded in 2023 into "Le Visionnaire – Espace Francois Dalle," a vibrant hub of creativity and collective intelligence dedicated to beauty. This space bridges our heritage with our future, embodied in its ambitious restoration by architect Alain Moatti, where an impressive glass structure now crowns the elegant 18th-century Parisian façades.
This emblematic location witnessed the birth of modern hairdressing and the debut of L’Oréal's first iconic products. Today, it serves as a space for knowledge and learning, immersing visitors in L’Oréal innovation DNA – showcasing our pioneering spirit, our power of innovation, and our unwavering commitment to creativity. Across 4,000 m2, the space unveils the group's history and opens its doors to rooms designed for creation, ideation, and trend forecasting, including a modernized Hairdressing Academy.
Open to L'Oréal employees as well as stakeholders from the worlds of fashion and luxury, key opinion leaders, and journalists, Le Visionnaire brings to life the unique culture that has always driven L'Oréal to create the beauty that moves the world.

EPISKIN L’Oréal Recherche & Innovation
Episkin L’Oréal Research & Innovation is one of 20 L’Oréal research centers worldwide (7 are based in France). As a leader in human skin reconstruction for over 40 years, this Lyon-based center develops cutting-edge testing models for biological and dermatological research. Episkin directly supports L’Oréal Groupe's commitment to Beauty Without Animal Testing.
Remarkable scientific and technological advances have led to the development of L'Oréal SKIN TECHNOLOGY. This breakthrough allows us to create inclusive models that mirror the complexity of human skin. These models make it possible to anticipate skin reactions and assess cosmetic products with full reliability and ethical responsibility.
Through these models, L’Oréal deepens scientific knowledge of the skin, elevates testing standards within the cosmetics industry, and scales up the production of reconstructed skin models. These models are then made available across the cosmetics industry and beyond, furthering our collective understanding of skin health.

Le Centre Thermal La Roche-Posay
La Roche-Posay, the leading European center for thermal dermatology, has nurtured its globally recognized expertise for over five centuries. Today, therapeutic benefits attract approximately 6,000 visitors every year.
The history of La Roche-Posay is deeply intertwined with its “eau de velours (“velvet water”), renowned for its therapeutic properties. As early as the 19th century, this exceptional water drew prominent French and international figures and artists seeking well-being, including André Gide, Jean Cocteau, and Florence Gould.
Today, the La Roche-Posay Thermal Center offers a unique experience of dermatological care and rejuvenation across four dedicated facilities: The Thermes du Connétable (thermal spa), The Pavillon de la Rose (complementary wellness activities), the Spa Source, and The Pavillon des Sources (well-being center).
At its heart, the center allows guests and visitors alike to experience the full expertise of La Roche-Posay, a L’Oréal Groupe brand, dedicated to providing soothed skin and restored well-being.

Usine La Roche Posay

Its unique characteristic is its ability to integrate thermal water, a sensitive natural resource, into consumer-friendly products. The factory exports 80% of its production to over 60 countries, thus demonstrating its global expertise.
This other La Roche-Posay site is strongly committed to environmental preservation, using 100% renewable energy. Production optimizations and the integration of Industry 4.0 solutions have drastically reduced water and energy consumption per finished product.

As a true sanctuary for biodiversity, the Domaine is home to over 280 recorded species.
At its heart stands La Maison Rose, a contemporary architectural statement designed with the most stringent sustainable development principles.
