L’Oréal Middle East Employees Celebrates Citizen Day

In 2019, L’Oréal celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Citizen Day.

A yearly initiative where employees worldwide have the opportunity to collectively participate in a social engagement volunteering day.

On this day, L’Oréal employees dedicate their time to support NGOs and contribute to social and environmental causes, relevant to their countries. These initiatives include the renovation of an organization’s premises, support for young social entrepreneurs, waste collection, well-being workshops for disadvantaged members of the community and much more.

In 2019, L’Oréal Middle East employees celebrated Citizen Day where 280 employees fully devoted their day to giving back to the community across the UAE.The employees were split into four different volunteering activities; making wigs for children dealing with cancer, making toys for refugee children, making sustainable robotics for local children and collecting plastics from the mangroves

The day was successful and resulted in 1116 volunteering hours, 280 volunteers, 142 beneficiaries and three supported associations including Al Noor Training Center for Persons with Disability and Al Mawada Project.
