L'Oréal USA Marches at WorldPride for Everyone Who Can’t

#MARCHFORME

In celebration of WorldPride 2019 in New York City, which marks the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, L’Oréal USA launched “March for Me,” a digital campaign that invited people from all over the world to join virtually the 860 L’Oréal USA employees who are marching in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We know that for every LGBTQIA+ individual and ally who will be present at this year’s March, there are many more who would want to march if they could.

That’s why, working in tandem with our employee-driven think tank, OUT @ L’Oréal, we have created “March for Me” to represent those who cannot be at the WorldPride March in person, but who want to demonstrate their support for the LGTBQIA+ community. “We celebrate individuality and champion self-expression at L’Oréal which anchors our global mission of Beauty for All,” said Xavier Vey, President of L'Oréal Luxe USA and Executive Sponsor of OUT@L'Oréal, L'Oréal USA’s LGBTQ+ Think Tank. “It has been truly energizing to see how our employees, led by the OUT@L’Oréal employee think tank and its allies, have worked together to create a platform and campaign that embraces inclusivity at a global scale.

I am humbled that the efforts of a small group of passionate people have led to a worldwide movement at our company.”

Participants could join the campaign by submitting a photo or video of themselves, which were projected on screens atop the L’Oréal USA float at WorldPride 2019 in New York City on Sunday, June 30th.
