Kiehl’s opened its temporary boutique on October 1st at the Expo 2020 Dubai. Located in the Jubilee Park, Kiehl’s boutique is an ode to sustainability, innovation, and service; a true celebration of the Expo 2020 Dubai values. 

Customers can now enjoy and shop a limited-edition “Kiehl’s Loves Dubai” Expo 2020 Dubai collection, have access to exclusive-launches available only at the Expo boutique, and experience the core values of Kiehl’s in exciting new ways.

Sustainability has always been a core part of Kiehl’s DNA, from sourcing its ingredients sustainably to using minimal, utilitarian packaging. Kiehl’s Future Made Better™ is the brand’s journey toward reducing its environmental impact and improving the communities it serves. Working toward a healthier planet means Kiehl’s is creating more responsible formulas with renewable ingredients and sustainable packaging, while improving the materials they use in their stores. To celebrate Future Made Better, two exciting activations are available at Kiehl’s boutique at the Expo: 

The brand’s new ‘Refillery’ concept, where for the first time ever, Kiehl’s customers can refill their own aluminium ‘Refill-a-bottle’ to support Kiehl’s pursuit of sustainable consumption with a decrease in packaging production; and a Recycle & Be Rewarded activation area. Kiehl’s commitment to recycling began with the launch of its global Recycle and Be Rewarded program in 2009, which encourages customers to bring empty containers back into Kiehl’s stores to be recycled properly. Thanks to Kiehl’s customers around the world, the brand has recycled over 11.2 million products globally since 2009. At Expo 2020 Dubai, Customer’s empties can easily be dropped off at the boutique’s Recycle & Be Rewarded Bin, and sent to be recycled via local partners. 
To strengthen the brand’s local commitment to a greener future, Kiehl’s is also proud to kick-off a local partnership with Emirates Nature – WWF with a monetary donation focused on restoring mangroves in the UAE.

Along with the sustainable initiatives featured at the store, Kiehl’s most innovative skincare tools is showcased. Visitors are invited to enjoy a consultation using Kiehl’s latest ‘Derma-Reader’ technology, which combines deep-skin photo-analysis with Kiehl’s scientific insight and personalized expert education to formulate a skincare routine based on the customer’s unique concerns for healthy, younger-looking skin.  
A special spotlight is also given to Kiehl’s newest formula innovation: Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum – a first-to-market daily-use retinol, formulated with micro-dose technology that delivers the maximum anti-aging benefits of pure retinol with little to no irritating side effects. At the Expo 2020 Dubai boutique, visitors will have exclusive access to shop the brand new, travel-friendly 30ML format.


For 170 years, the devoted mission of Kiehl’s has been to elevate the customer experience through skincare expertise, science, and service. With a dedicated “Customize Your Kiehl’s” area, visitors will have the opportunity to customize and personalize product labels for their Kiehl’s favourites in the colours representative of Expo 2020 Dubai.  
Male visitors are also invited to receive exclusive barber shop services that include beard trimming and hair styling, using Kiehl’s renowned assortment of men’s grooming products.
To celebrate the opening of the new boutique, an exclusive event was held in October withUAE-based influencers and content creators to discover the world of Kiehl’s at Expo 2020 Dubai. Over the course of six months, a series of partnerships and events with sustainable local brands will also be hosted by Kiehl’s at the boutique.
