Beauty Industry Leader Received Perfect Score for Workplace Policies, Practices and Benefits which Support the LGBTQ+ Employee Community
On January 27th and for the fifth consecutive year, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation named L’Oréal USA a ‘Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.’ The designation comes as the company received a perfect (100) score on its HRC Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. The Index is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equity.
L’Oréal USA’s commitment to the LGBTQ+ community is rooted in policies, practices and benefits like equal employment opportunity across sexual orientation and gender identity, same-sex spousal benefits and transgender-inclusive health care coverage. The company also continues to support the community through OUT@L’Oréal, an employee resource group focused on uniting LGBTQ+ employees and allies to foster an inclusive environment, play an active role in community outreach and provide insights into the LGBTQ+ community for L’Oréal’s more than 30 US brands. Extending the support externally, L’Oréal USA plays an active part in championing initiatives like the onePULSE Foundation's 49 Legacy Scholarship Program, a program established in honor of those who lost their lives in the Pulse nightclub tragedy in Orlando, Florida, where the company signed on as the founding donor.
