L’Oréal Australia recognised among the Employers of Choice for Gender Equality

L’Oréal has been internationally recognised for its ethical excellence by the Ethisphere Institute for the 14th time

L’Oréal Australia remains dedicated to sustainable practices, ensuring that we adapt and sustainably grow our business to safeguard the environment and create positive social impact. For instance we partnered with global manufacturing company, Avery Dennison Corporation, and leading waste management company, Wasteflex, to co-design a sustainable label backing.

This Earth Day we wanted to share with you some of these local initiatives:

L’Oréal Australia is proud to announce they have received MOVE level of EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) Certification. The EDGE assessment is the leading business certification for gender equality in the workplace that is universally applicable across industries and countries.

For over ten years the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program has supported Australian female scientists with the aim of encouraging more young women to enter the profession and to assist them once their careers are in progress.

The 2016 Citizen Day showed once again that together we can make the world more beautiful.

L’Oréal Australia is delighted to announce that for the first time, their Management Committee is majority female. The team which leads a workforce of 1,500 employees across the country, now comprises seven females and four males.
