2023 NAIDOC Week Walk
In celebration and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
On Thursday the 6th of July, 40 L'Oréal employees at Imagine Way and St Kilda Road participated in the 2023 NAIDOC Week Walk/Run on Boonwurrung Country.
NAIDOC Week is an annual week in Australia which celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
For every person who participated in the event across Australia, there was a $50 contribution to support the Clothing the Gaps Foundation, an independent Aboriginal-led not for profit run by Public Health practitioners. The Foundation runs programs and spaces to get Aboriginal people and communities moving to help reduce the life expectancy gap between indigenous and non-indigenous people in Australia. L’Oréal Groupe, Australia & New Zealand, will contribute $2,000 to Clothing the Gaps Foundation for our group’s participation in this great initiative.
