We Stand for All Women Around the World
We create the beauty that moves the world. We want tomorrow’s world to be fair, diverse, and inclusive. And we want women to be part of shaping it. We have a proud history of empowering women and working with them to build the world of tomorrow.
We express this commitment through a series of actions. First, with a charitable endowment fund to support highly vulnerable women: the L’Oréal Fund for Women, launched in 2020, in the context of the COVID 19 crisis. At the same time, our brands are taking action, using their influence to raise awareness among partners, clients, and consumers to advance the cause of women.
In addition to our philanthropic initiatives, we have teamed up with suppliers to develop solidarity programs, including our Inclusive Sourcing initiative. Two-thirds of the beneficiaries of Inclusive Sourcing projects are women.

The L'Oréal Fund for Women
The L’Oréal Fund for Women specifically targets highly vulnerable women, with two main focuses: to help women get out of poverty and to help women who are victims of gender-based and sexual violence. Since its inception, more than 530 organizations have been supported in 90 countries, directly helping more than 4,800,000 women and girls.
Foster social inclusion of women through Inclusive Sourcing
In addition to our philanthropic activities, the Inclusive Sourcing program had helped 93,165 people from vulnerable communities to get a job and receive a decent income by the end of 2023. Of these, 42 571 beneficiaries from projects linked to female empowerment, 3225 people with disabilities working for our suppliers, 86 third parties, including NGO's and associations.
These Inclusive Sourcing projects support women who produce raw materials such as shea, argan, and galangal, which are grown and harvested in accordance with fair trade principles. The projects also support female entrepreneurs, single mothers, military wives, and women who have been the victims of violence.
By 2030, we will have helped another 100,000 people from disadvantaged communities gain access to employment, notably through our Inclusive Sourcing program.
