Congratulations to them and their Schneider Sustainability Impact program!

L’Oréal Canada contributes to the beauty of our planet with its sustainable and inclusive transformation program L’Oréal for the future

L'Oréal Group has great ambitions in terms of sustainable development and is concretely committed to the L'Oréal for the Future program:

- By 2025, L'Oréal is committed to achieving 100% renewable energy in all its plants, distribution centers and offices, a goal we have already achieved in Canada.

- By 2030, 100% of the water used in our industrial processes will be recycled and reused in a loop on our sites. We are extremely proud that our Montreal plant was the first factory of all L’Oréal sites to filter and reuse washing water. Launched in 2013, the filtration unit saves nearly 16 million liters of water per year.

- L’Oréal already uses 100% FSC or PEFC certified paper for all its packaging. Additionally, thanks to our partnership with TerraCycle and the support of our retailers, we have recycling bins in 637 points of sale across Canada.

“Thank you to the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada for its leadership in accelerating the green shift of its members, as well as to our collaborators, partners and suppliers who mobilize every day to build the future and to solving the world’s challenges that accompany it. » An Verhulst-Santos, President and CEO, L’Oréal Canada.
