With a background in economics and statistics, Asmita Dubey began her career in the advertising industry. She joined L’Oréal in 2013, as Chief Marketing Officer, laying the foundations for the Group’s e-commerce acceleration in China. Appointed Chief Digital Officer for the Consumer Products division in 2017, she is also named Chief Media Officer for the L’Oréal Group in 2020. In April 2021, Asmita Dubey joined the Group’s Executive Committee as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer.
Asmita Dubey emphasizes the challenge of the perception of the role of women in India and their economic independence. For her, women in senior positions have both the opportunity and the responsibility to mentor women leaders of tomorrow.
