Janice Ma, Manager: China Evaluation & Alternative Methods

I work in the Claims, Regulatory & Safety team here in Shanghai. For the last 10 years we have been working with Chinese scientists and regulatory authorities to validate non-animal methods for product safety tests. I’m very proud of this collaboration and what we’ve managed to achieve. The changes to the regulatory framework of cosmetic products in recent years (in 2014 and 2021) are a great reward for this hard work. I look forward to continuing this collaboration with the authorities and experts here in China on this journey.
