I’m Troy Seidle, I’m the Vice President for Research & Toxicology at Humane Society International. Humane Society International is one of the largest animal protection organizations in the world. We are delighted to have L’Oréal join us as our latest AFSA partner. As the largest beauty brand in the world, L’Oréal’s support for cosmetic animal testing bans carries tremendous weight with politicians and governments around the world. And in addition, L’Oréal’s scientific expertise in animal-free safety assessment is a key contributor to the education and training work that we have under way. And here in this space, companies like L’Oréal are generously contributing their expertise towards the creation of a first of its kind training curriculum to support safety assessors in government as well as in smaller companies to understand and trust the results of non-animal approaches.
