MAX, the robot, tests our mascara's efficiency

Today I’m going to show you step by step how it’s done with MAX. MAX’s job is to help me test mascaras to find the best combination of mascara formula and brush. I put the sample in the rack . Next I place the rack inside MAX . Then I set the program. MAX is a pro, he is agile and much faster than a human hand. Let’s have a look at the results on the computer! MAX has done a great job. With this data we can define the best combination of mascara and brush. Now, time to check its safety. We use different methods, like reconstructed corneas tests, to evaluate if the mascara is well tolerated on eyes. At L’Oréal, we do not test on animals.
