L’Oréal Australia is proud to announce they have received MOVE level of EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) Certification. The EDGE assessment is the leading business certification for gender equality in the workplace that is universally applicable across industries and countries.

For over ten years the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program has supported Australian female scientists with the aim of encouraging more young women to enter the profession and to assist them once their careers are in progress. In 2017, L’Oréal Australia is proud to announce the addition of a fourth $25,000 Australian Fellowship. The four Australian Fellowships and one New Zealand Fellowship will be awarded at the official ceremony in Sydney in October 2017.

The 2016 Citizen Day showed once again that together we can make the world more beautiful. “For the seventh year in a row, every L’Oréal employee was given the opportunity to play an active part in the group’s citizen engagement programme. Together, we can have a positive impact on the world around us,” said Jean-Paul Agon, who is a key supporter of the initiative.

L’Oréal Australia is delighted to announce that for the first time, their Management Committee is majority female. The team which leads a workforce of 1,500 employees across the country, now comprises seven females and four males. The group of talented female leaders includes the Operations Director, Chief Financial Officer, General Manager IT, HR Director, Communications Director, General Counsel and General Manager, Luxury Division.
